I grabbed Kane’s hand and led him up the stairs. I’ve been wanting to complete the flame ritual for days now, but I wasn’t going to be the one to keep bringing it up. I’m just waiting to make sure he’s ready for this, too. Even though he’s solidified that for me multiple times.

I lead the way to his bedroom and start undressing myself. Kane follows my lead and starts taking his shirt off, then unbuttoning his pants and sliding them to the floor. He steps out of his boxers and stands in front of me, completely naked.

Good gods this man is divine. I lick my lips instinctively, definitely enjoying the scene laid out in front of me.

I throw my shirt up over my head and shuffle out of my scrub bottoms. Unlatching my bra, I stand in front of Kane with my arms covering my breasts, feeling slightly shy.

This feeling is like we can’t get undressed quick enough, yet we want to savor every moment.

Kane kneels down in front of me, eye level with the part of my body that was already throbbing before he has even touched me. Internally I’m about to explode. He puts his fingers looped through each side of my panties and slides them off of me, slowly, down to the floor. I step out of them willingly. I feel exposed, but with Kane, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable. I just feel vulnerable, in every sense of the word.

My arms are still crossed in front of me, covering myself. Kane slowly starts to stand up and he grabs onto my arms and pulls them to the side of me, exposing me even more to him. There is no hiding anything now. When we do this, we will belong to one another entirely, in every essence of the word.

This is new territory for me. The few men I have previously been with was more primal rather than intimate. Kane is studying me, being slow and gentle, learning me and savoring me. He is mine, and I’m his and he is proving that to me right now.

This isn't the first time we’ve slept together, but this time it’s different. This time it is with the intention of tying us together eternally, so there is slight pressure but he doesn’t make me feel it. I’m lost in this moment and I never want it to end.

With both of our bodies open and exposed, ready for one another, Kane gently grabs my hand and leads me to the bed. I lay back on the mattress while Kane slowly crawls on top of me and kisses me deeply, so softly, and never breaks eye contact.
